WHAT RANIUS IS
It is teacher training with AI in the loop, it is a new staff room where teachers worldwide learn together, and for children it is a career path that replaces the diploma. All three sit on one mechanism.

Four years to a licence becomes apply → train → coach → certify, in about three months. AI watches the lesson second by second and hands back what to fix. A licence is not a condition of entry. You can start the moment you want to, and stopping partway costs you little.
A new staff room, where teachers worldwide learn together
How teachers learn used to end at the classroom door. On Ranius every lesson is published. Watch good teaching any time, from anywhere. Learn every week with a team of four to eight teachers from around the world. Get an honest read from timestamped evidence and the children's voice — compared only to your own past. We never rank teachers.
A career path for children that replaces the diploma
Children get lessons from teachers they could never have met. And they are not confined to their own classroom or local system — they can teach children anywhere in the world. A route judged on whether you can actually teach someone, not on a diploma or an exam score, open from childhood.

The comparison "four years → about three months" is time until you can stand in front of children. Whether the teaching is equivalent is what the December 2026 A/B measures. How many teachers one mentor can carry is being measured now.

Spouses of expatriate workers and others who want to teach but hold no licence. Apply, train, coach, certify — about three months, up to standing in front of children.
This is where "can anyone become a teacher?" gets tested.

Steps 2 and 3 are ahead of us. The only thing fixed today is the opening date of step 1.
TEAM
Ranius does not have to build a test environment from nothing. NIJIN Inc., the parent company, already runs both the school the children attend and the staff room where teachers learn together.
Founder
Tatsuro Hoshino
A former public elementary school teacher who founded NIJIN Inc. in 2022. He built NIJIN Academy, an online school for children who cannot attend school, and a learning community for teachers. Ranius rebuilds, from the supply side, the problem he kept seeing there: teachers cannot stay in the job.

The teachers of NIJIN Academy about 100 instructors
Half of them have never taught professionally. Developing teachers without a licence as the entry condition is not a research idea here — it already runs. The content of the training and the bar for certification are set by people currently standing in front of children.
Site 02 / Teachers learning
Serving teachers who took the training 1,200 teachers
Serving school teachers who paid for the training themselves. The one piece of evidence that this works outside our own walls — and the people most likely to carry Ranius first.
Site 03 / Children learning
The children of NIJIN Academy over 1,000 enrolled in three years
The online school can be used as it stands. Publishing lessons, running assessment, collecting the children's voice — none of it has to be built from scratch. The December A/B runs from here.
Enrolment since opening and the number enrolled today are different quantities; over 1,000 is the first. The figures of about 100, 1,200 and over 1,000 are all NIJIN Inc.'s, the parent company. Traction for Ranius itself starts with the December 2026 A/B.
What is missing here is a research lead and an assessment specialist. They are the two people we most need in order to say "equivalent" out loud.
